Found this downhillskating video on YouTube and just had to share.  Looks to me like the downhill part isn't the issue but it's not easy making the turns going 40 mph!  Ouch!

Wow! This is just absolutely craziness.  I love the thrill of this, but this is way out of my league. It totally looks painful and pain is not what I’m into. Thanks for sharing the video, I enjoyed watching it.

I think I would try that but I need to work a little more on my balance and find a place local to me to try this out at. What is the one when you are laying flat on the board?

Oh wow!  I don't think I would try that one!  I have seen a couple of shows of stunts gone wrong and I cringe whenever they start to hit.  I know some of those people have to have been seriously hurt.  I like extreme sports but I want to be able to walk afterward too.  I like me too much to hurt me seriously Smiley

I can't imagine myself doing turns around 40mph while skating downhill. It's good that some skaters bumped into something grassy rather than into a hard asphalt wall.

It looks too dangerous for me. I don't know how people have the courage to get on a board so close to the ground and watch their life wizz by! You really need to wear the protective clothing or a layer of skin could come off if you have a fall!

Cool sport but yeah, too dangerous. I might break my arm or sprain my ankle. I see numerous cases of falling from an unbalanced skateboard so I must agree that this sport is way too dangerous for aspiring skateboarders out there.

Some people would be surprised at how fast people can go on boards, it is sheer amazement by me (who tried but failed miserably) how some of these people can stay aboard one in the first place. I have my good things, but balance on a board is not one of them.

Well, 40mph is not really that fast on a scooter or a car, but on skates I guess it must be a super human feat. All I can say is that I am amazed and that I would never dare do it. I love watching such videos though; they thrill you to the core. Thanks for sharing this one!

Wow this stuff looks so freaking awesome dude! I have to do this. I have only been to skateboard parks, but this is something I've gotta try!
